About Leslie
Hey! Welcome to my blog! My name is Leslie. I am the mother of a 5 tribe, a wife, and work full-time in long-term nursing care as an Activity Director. Almost 6 years ago I found myself incarcerated at the county jail. I had lost my career and all my possessions, I was homeless, I had lost custody of two of my children, and I was addicted to drugs. I was at the bottom. I was tired of the hustle, rustle, and bustle of doing drugs and selling drugs. I had been running for a long time and could never seem to get ahead or stay ahead. Everything around me was loss. On March 23, 2017, Abounding Grace ministry came into the jail to minister to the women, and I stopped running that day. I gave my life to Christ and haven't looked back since. My goal is to help other women overcome the struggles of addiction, abuse, loss of children, low self-esteem, and negative thought patterns keeping them from being the woman that they were created to be. I have a story and my hope is that by sharing my story I can help someone else.
